MagniCursor is not yet publicly distributed. Its exact browser permissions and cloud service providers will be published before the first store release.
Current website
This static website does not provide user accounts, upload recordings, or set advertising cookies. The early-access link opens your email application; any message you send is handled by your email provider and ours.
We may add privacy-focused aggregate analytics before launch. If we do, this page will identify the provider and the data collected before that analytics code is enabled.
Extension privacy requirements
The extension processes recordings and captured browser actions locally by default. Its release must follow these data-minimization rules:
- Record only a browser session the user explicitly starts.
- Exclude passwords and sensitive input values.
- Capture limited element context needed to explain an action, not complete page HTML.
- Let the user inspect and remove captured steps before export.
- Request only the browser permissions required by shipped features.
Remote processing
Recording and processing remain on the user's device. Content is uploaded only when the user explicitly chooses cloud sharing. Cloud uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest. Share pages are excluded from search indexing by default, and the user controls when a shared item is deleted. The cloud providers and any subprocessors will be identified before release.
Sensitive pages and values
The product must not collect password values, authentication tokens, cookies, payment details, or hidden page content. Users remain responsible for avoiding confidential visual information in a screen recording.
Retention and deletion
The current website stores no recording projects, and local projects remain on the user's device. Cloud-shared content is retained until the user deletes it. After deletion, remaining backup copies are removed within 30 days.
